Piano Instructor
Eran Rotem is a musician and piano teacher living in Chicago. He started learning trumpet at the age of seven, but was later drawn to the piano which immediately became his passion. Eran studied classical piano for years with his own accredited teachers, such as Brooke Balbuena, who also provided lessons on pedagogy. In his lessons, he learned Bach, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Debussy, Schubert, etc. pieces to develop his own classical repertoire and technique. Eran used to give piano lessons to young students in the Denver, Colorado area before moving to Chicago to pursue more performance opportunities.
Eran loves music theory and spends his spare time learning more about music and composing/producing music digitally. He is also currently learning guitar and hopes to add many more instruments in the future.
Separately, Eran is a qualified back-end and front-end software developer, a licensed scuba diver, loves performing improv regularly around Chicago, and loves working with animals.
