Voice and Piano Instructor

Kopano is a multi-instrumentalist and song-writer from the Southside of Chicago. They have been a passionate musician since the age of 4, transitioning from violin to jazz voice & piano at age 15. In 2022 they obtained their degree from Oberlin College & Conservatory in Musical Studies, with a semester abroad at the University of Cape Town. Kopano has shared the stage with notable artists like Madison McFerrin, Kassa Overall, and Ernest Dawkins. 

As a music teacher, Kopano strives to foster a dynamic learning environment, emphasizing personal and enjoyable musical experiences. Kopano hopes all students leave the lesson not only with enriched musical skills but also with a profound love for the art, ready to embark on their own musical adventures.
