Piano Instructor

Naomi has been playing music almost her entire life. After starting with violin when she was 9, she switched to piano at age 10. She was self taught for a while, and then starting taking lessons during college.

Naomi has lived in Chicago all her life (Hermosa neighborhood). She is currently a full time student at VanderCook College of Music working on her bachelors for music education (BMEd). She is involved in her school’s choir, band, and orchestra, learning a variety of string and wind instruments along with many different styles and genres of music.

Her goal as a teacher is to plant a seed in each of my students, and to help them grow into the best versions of themselves musically and personally.
